Just when you think the world has gone mad ...

You find someone with some sense:

This from an AP story on the so-called "Intelligent Design" ruling.

"Jones decried the "breathtaking inanity" of the Dover policy and accused several board members of lying to conceal their true motive, which he said was to promote religion.

A six-week trial over the issue yielded "overwhelming evidence" establishing that intelligent design "is a religious view, a mere re-labeling of creationism, and not a scientific theory," said Jones, a Republican and a churchgoer appointed to the federal bench three years ago."

I was relieved by the court's ruling that Intelligent Design is just dressed up Creationism.

It seems there has been an awful lot of press about ID lately, as they are an extremely vocal minority.

Which is all the more reason to be glad when rational thoughts are expressed by the informed.

Yea!! for Jones in Dover.
